PURPOSE: To prevent pollution of a disc cartridge, add many function halls to the disc cartridge and make many modes to be selected and to be used. But it can make users confused. And if a user wants to record without a verification work of the disc cartridge, it can support it. CONSTITUTION: This device comprises a record select hall(4) that is opened and closed by a slider(6) moved straightly by a user and a open verification hall(3) that can select one among a record-prohibit mode, a record mode and a record after search mode according to openness and closeness. In this recordable high-density disk cartridge, a user can select pre-searching of immediate record or recordable state, if he wants to record a disc after opening the disc cartridge and ejecting the disc.
