PURPOSE: A reverse current preventing device of the remained compressed gas is provided to prevent the compressed gas remained after venting through a vent port from flowing backward to a compressing chamber. CONSTITUTION: The reverse current preventing device for the remained compressed gas of a hermetic type rotary compressor is composed of:a device for leading the compressing gas remained after venting through a vent port(11) to the inner part of a rolling piston(10); a device for discharging the remained compressing gas flowed in the inner part of the rolling piston to the upper bearing(6) and the lower bearing(7).
