PURPOSE: A solid fuel composition is prepared by mixing animal oil, vegetable oil and alcohol additives. CONSTITUTION: 3 Kg of 1N sodium hydroxide is diluted in 1 l of water, followed by saponification adding 10 kg of animal oil such as lard, beef tallow and fish oil, or vegetable oil such as soybean oil, corn oil, peanut oil, castor oil, linseed oil and mineral oil. The saponificated solid is crushed, and 1 kg of the solid is heated below ignition temperature for 30 minutes in 20 l of alcohol to give the solid fuel. A composition rate of water, sodium hydroxide, animal or vegetable oil and alcohol is 1:3:10:223. |
