Economical production of sodium fluoride from sodium lye and hydrogen fluoride at relatively low temperatures

Sodium fluoride (NaF) is prepared from sodium lye and hydrogen fluoride (HF) by separate addition of anhydrous HF and an at least 45 wt.% (especially 50 wt.%) sodium lye into a saturated NaF suspension in which 4-50 (especially 5-30) wt.% of NaF is suspended. The temperature of this suspension is 20-80 (especially 30-60) deg C.
