PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultrasonic type driving method and a driving machine therefor capable of driving in without causing any trouble even a driven article hits a boulder stone or a hard layer in the ground. SOLUTION: A steel sheet pile 12 is sandwiched by a case 13 from both sides. A slide plate 16 in the case 13 is pushed against the steel sheet pile 12 by the restoring force of a spring 17. Leakage is prevented by a water stop material 15 and the interior of the case 13 is filled with water, oil, or the like through a fluid filling hole 18. An oscillating element 11 oscillating ultrasonic oscillation is inserted into the case 13 and the oscillating surface 20 is arranged towards the steel sheet pile 12 in the liquid 14 of water or oil or the like.
