PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a small and low cost heat sink for cooling a high temperature heat generating element, by a method wherein the heat generated by a heating element provided in a heat sink is almost evenly dispersed in the whole heat sink, by forcively circulating a liquid such as water, etc., in a liquid transporting pipe provided inside a heat sink base for increasing the heat exchange radiating efficiency as well as integrating a fan with a liquid circulating pump. SOLUTION: In a heat sink composed of base surfaces 1 for fitting a heating element on one face or double faces thereof and a fin 2 radiating the heat from the base surfaces 1, a liquid transporting pipe 3 for forcibly circulating a liquid is provided inside the base surfaces 1. Besides, a pump for transporting a circulating liquid to the liquid transporting pipe 3 and a fan for blowing air to the fin 2 are to be driven by the same motor.
