Known actuating devices comprise a pinion which in cooperation with spirals provided for on cables achieves a corresponding displacement of the cables so as to arrive at an adjustment of the sun roof of a vehicle with the aid of said cables. This action, however, takes place in a series of jolts which cause undesirable noise. The invention provides for two cooperating wheels (25, 26) having openings (28, 29) fitted with corresponding inner profiles (33, 34) so that when said inner profiles (33, 34) interact with corresponding outer profiles (23, 24) two cables (14, 15) move in opposite directions. Their permanent contact with the outside of the cables (14, 15) prevents undesirable noise. The actuating device provided for in the invention is designed to adjust a lid, especially a sun roof of a vehicle. |
