PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a compact reel seat, capable of surely suppressing a shake in a diameter direction of a transferrable hood not giving a disordered feeling to hand and excellent in durability. SOLUTION: This seat has a fixed hood SH fixed at a rod tube R, and a transferrable hood MH capable of transferring relative to the rod tube R in its axis direction. On at least one of the fixed hood SH and the transferrable hood MH, a recessed part 3 as a part being fitted with is installed, and a tongue like piece 7 as a fitting part for fitting to the recessed part 3 on at least other one of the fixed hood SH and the transferrable hood MH.
