PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic commercial transaction service system for enabling a commercial transaction on the Internet in a shop and guaranteeing security. SOLUTION: A POS 1 accesses an electronic shop 30 present on the Internet through the network 2 of a modem or a LAN or the like and the products 31 of the electronic shop 30 are displayed at a customer display 11. A customer purchases the product of the electronic shop 30 from the customer display 11 similarly to the actual product displayed inside the shop. In the case that the customer purchases the product 31 of the electronic shop 30, an IC card 4 issued from a credit company 40 or the like for which electronic money is paid beforehand is inserted to an IC card reader/writer 5 connected to the POS 1 and individual authentication is performed on the Internet by a system (SET or the like) stipulated by the credit company. When the authentication is completed, by selecting the product by a touch panel 12 on the customer display 11 of the POS 1, ordering is completed. Since an account is settled by the electronic money inside the IC Card 4, cash is not transferred. |
