PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve assemblability by restraining the deterioration of optical performance caused by eccentricity and also to make compensation for the various kinds of aberration excellent in an image pickup lens constituted of two lenses. SOLUTION: This lens is composed of a first lens L1 in a meniscus shape having weak refracting power, and a second lens L2 in a meniscus shape whose the convex face faces on an image surface side in order from an object side to an image surface IMG side and when (f) is defined as the focal distance of a lens entire system, f2 is defined as the focal distance of the lens L2 and nd2 is defined as the refractive index of the lens L2 on a (d) line, the respective conditions of f2/f>0.9 and nd2>1.55 are satisfied.
