CONTINUOUS APPARATUS FOR WASHING TOWEL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate problems that a tension is concentrated on one site to break a towel in the middle part and automatic washing operations may be stopped when washing operations are automated in a conventional apparatus for washing, operations to sew up broken sites are hard to perform and require much time and are complicated in this case, the washing operations may thereby be discontinued for a long time and a towel of a different width cannot be washed with the same apparatus for washing due to a conveying passage for conveying the towel formed according to the towel having a prescribed width. SOLUTION: This continuous apparatus for washing a towel 10 is composed by installing guide members for regulating the position of the towel 10 in the width direction in a conveying passage for the towel 10 in the form of a long belt and composing the guide members so that the regulating width thereof can be changed and is capable of carrying out the changeover of guide pins 62 and guide pins 63 which are the guide members thereby changing the regulating width of the guide members and enabling the conveyance of the towel 10 of several widths so that respective steps constituting washing steps for the towel 10 can separately and intermittently be operated.
