PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To relieve trouble requiring maintenance of network configuration information by generating configuration information of a communication path with respect to a client based on a connection request, setting up the communication path with the client, based on the configuration information and conducting communication. SOLUTION: A connection request reception section 1d in a communication management manager 1a receives connection request from a Web client 3 to a Web server 1. A configuration information management section 1c generates configuration information of a communication path to the Web client 3, based on location information. When the configuration information management section 1c generates the configuration information of the communication path related to the Web client 3, the information is used to start a communication management agent 3a in the Web client 3. When the communication management agent 3a is started, a protocol control section 3c in the communication management agent 3a sets up a communication path with the communication management manager 1a, based on the configuration information simultaneously transferred from the Web server 1.
