PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily increase the conduction angle of a rectified power supply and enhance a power factor. SOLUTION: An auxiliary capacitor 22 and a pair of auxiliary diodes 24, 26 are utilized. The arrangement of the pair of the auxiliary diodes 24, 26 is improved so that an inductive load current arising from the electromagnetic energy emission from an inductive load 40 flows by way of a rectified power supply 10 in the forward direction and by way of the auxiliary capacitor 22. During this passage in the forward direction, power is supplied from the rectified power supply 10 and the conduction angle is increased. As a result, the power factor is enhanced. |
