PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toner feeding device making the working of a hopper shutter regulated at a closed position when the toner cartridge is not mounted on the cartridge mounting cap, and releasing the above working regulation when the toner cartridge is mounted. SOLUTION: This toner feeding device, provided with the toner hopper equipped with a frame body mounted on a top surface of a hopper vessel and having a toner receiving opening and equipped with the cartridge mounting cap having the hopper shutter 74 disposed slidably on the frame body, and the toner cartridge 8 equipped with the vessel main body for containing the toner and having a toner discharge opening on a bottom and equipped with a sealing member 82 disposed on the bottom of the vessel main body detachably, for clogging the toner discharging opening, is further provided with a locking means 76 for regulating the operation of the hopper shutter on the close position. The locking means is constituted so that the work regulation of the hopper shutter is released, when the toner cartridge is mounted on the mounting position on the cartridge mounting cap. |
