PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the communication device that exchanges local data via a radio interface whose transmission distance is limited to a very short distance different from a conventional radio interface. SOLUTION: Local data are exchanged among other communication devices 3, 4 adjacent to a communication device 1, a data processing unit and a data reproducing device or the like. A communication distance of an input/output radio interface 2 is shorter than that of a conventional radio interface and equivalent to a conversation distance. A memory device 6 and a data processing unit 5 are coupled with the input/output radio interface 2 to control data, temporarily store the data and process the data and the like and a different data sequence for local data exchange is identified, the memory device 6 is used to selectively retrieve it, and the input/output radio interface 2 acting as a transmission end and a receiving end of data can be activated manually.
