When the combine harvester is subjected to brake turning while being kept in a high speed travel state, crawlers run idle and perform a stick-slip motion to cause the so-called scooping in some cases. When the turning operation of the combine harvester is detected at the time of running on a road, the speed of the engine 10 is immediately reduced. Thereby, effects on the prevention of the stick-slip when turning the combine harvester can be produced and an engine output, i.e., fuel consumption can be reduced according to the reduction in the speed of the engine 10.
