PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a combine harvester capable of performing stable turning operations, etc., at the time of running on a road, etc. SOLUTION: This combine harvester capable of decelerating the engine speed to a prescribed low speed when the location of a travel speed changing means of the combine harvester in a high speed changing stage, the start of turning by a steering means and high speed rotation of an engine are detected with respective detecting means. Thereby, the power can be sufficiently supplied even when the engine is rotated at a low speed and the output of the engine is reduced. When the combine harvester is subjected to brake turning while being kept in a high speed travel state, crawlers run idle and perform a stick-slip motion to cause the so-called scooping in some cases. When the turning operation of the combine harvester is detected at the time of running on a road, the speed of the engine 10 is immediately reduced. Thereby, effects on the prevention of the stick-slip when turning the combine harvester can be produced and an engine output, i.e., fuel consumption can be reduced according to the reduction in the speed of the engine 10.
