<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent nonconforming paper pickups and ensure normal paper feed operations irrespective of paper size and outage, and allows a stack of more paper sheets, with a simple structure. SOLUTION: Elastic bodies 7a and 7b urge the respective paper feeding and opposite ends of a paper feed base 1 in a predetermined direction to support it vertically and press a topmost paper 6a on a paper feed means 4. A turning and guide means 8a, 9 moves the paper feed base 1 generally vertically in a stable manner by turning it about an axis perpendicular to one side 1a thereof while the pivot 9 is guided exactly or generally vertically. This expedience unburdens the turning and guide means 8a, 9 of excessive loads, holds relatively small the inclination of the paper feed base 1 in dependence on paper size, and keeps unchanged or minimally changed the angleθthe topmost paper 6a forms with a paper path 5 independently of any outage of papers 6.</p> |
