METHOD OF MANUFACTURING PLASMA DISPLAY PANEL

PURPOSE: A method of manufacturing a plasma display panel is provided to form a protection layer in a low temperature without expensive apparatus. CONSTITUTION: In the method, a discharge-sustain electrodes are formed as a stripe type on a front substrate(11). A dielectric film(15) is formed on the front substrate(11) to cover the discharge-sustain electrodes(14). A protection layer(16) is formed on the dielectric film(15). To manufacture the protection layer(16), MgO powder washed by alcohol is mixed with a binder. A surface tension of the protection layer(16) is less than that of water. Neighbor grains are coupled together without a hydrogen bond. Thereby, the protection layer(16) suppress cohesion of dry powder.
