PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coupling device for upper-lower panels in a wall-surface panel device. SOLUTION: A plurality of supports are disposed in upright between a top rail and a bottom rail, a plurality of upper-lower split panels are installed through the supports, the lower sections of the lower panels 4 are borne by panel bearers mounted at the lower end sections of the supports, the mutual upper end sections of the adjacent upper panels 5 and the upper end sections of the supports are connected by top connectors in the wall-surface panel device. Edge plates are bent and formed at a right angle on the rear sides in the peripheries of the surface plates of the upper-lower panels while corresponding rectangular engaging holes 49, 50 are formed at both end sections of the upper edge plates 16A of the lower panels and both end sections of the lower edge plates 16B of the upper panels 5 respectively, the leg sections 51 having elasticity of intermediate connectors 6 are fitted into the engaging holes 49 of the upper edge plates of the lower panels set up among the supports from upper sections, and the engaging holes 50 of the lower edge plates of the upper panels are fitted to the head sections 52 of the intermediate connectors projected upwards from the upper edge plates of the lower panels from upper sections at that time.
