PURPOSE:To obtain a piezoelectric porcelain element wherein an electromechanical coupling coefficient and a heat-resisting property are high and a change with the elapse of time small. CONSTITUTION:The composition of piezoelectric porcelain is indicated by a general expression of (Pb1-xMex) [(Mg1/3Nb2/3)a-(Yb1/2Nb1/2)bTicZrd]O3 (where Me represents at least one selected from Ba, Sr and Ca and a+b+c+d=1) so as to be 0.95<=x<=1.02, 0.01<=a<=0.15, 0.01<=b<=0.10, 0.30<=c<=0.60 and 0.25<=d<=0.68. |
