摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for facilitating assembly, adjustment and manufacture of a right-angle thermal expansion valve. SOLUTION: A valve body 112' of a heat response expansion valve 110' comprises: an inlet port 114' and an outlet port 16 disposed perpendicular to each other; a passage 18 having a valve seat 20 which makes the inlet port 114' communicate with the outlet port 16; and valve stopper 36 controlling a flow of a valve passage and movable to the valve seat 20. A capsule 22 is filled with fluid and is provided with a diaphragm 28. The diaphragm cam move according to a change in pressure of the fluid inside the capsule 22 by a sensing valve connected to the capsule 22 through a capillary 34. A pad part and a plurality of leg parts are provided to an operation member 48, and are integrally formed with the operation member 48. Spring 40 urge movement of the diaphragm 28 and the pad to allow the valve stopper 36 to leave from the valve seat 20, when the valve stopper 36 acts on the valve seat 20 and the leg parts acts on a cap to exceed urging force of the springs 40. A retainer 42 of the springs 40 is arranged in advance and inside the inlet port so that the springs 40 are pressed against the retainer 42. Accordingly, there is no need to adjust the thermal expansion valve after assembly.
