PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate a waste time by cutting out an upper half, mounting a rectangular plate at an end face of a cylinder, mounting indexes to be alternately removed, inserting the indexes into the cut-out part of a ballpoint pen, and mounting a slide cover at the cut-out upper part, thereby improving its operating efficiency. SOLUTION: An upper half of the ballpoint pen 1 is cut out, indexes 3 to be alternately removed are mounted at an index spacer 2, and a rectangular part of the spacer is held by the first index. The index 3 and the spacer 2 are inserted together from a head into a cut-out part of the pen 1 and contained in the pen 1. A slide cover 4 is mounted at the upper part of the cut-out pen. The indexes bundled are sequentially drawably mounted at the spacer. The indexes and the spacer. are inserted from the head of the pen and contained in the pen. Particularly, in the case of using the index separately from a desk, business processing can be executed without anxiety of carrying the index therewith.
