PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toner replenishing device capable of reducing the noise in an output image by providing a hitting member at a position where it can give vibration suitable for toner supply. SOLUTION: In this toner replenishing device, a toner cartridge 30 is disposed in a developing device main body 11, and the device is provided with the hitting member 36 for adjusting the quantity of the toner 15 supplied from the bottom part of the cartridge 30 by hitting the base of the cartridge 30. Furthermore, the device is provided with a shielding member 38 regulating the intervention of the toner 15 between the base of the cartridge 30 and the member 36 and propagating the vibration of the base of the cartridge 30 by the member 36 between the base of the cartridge 30 and the main body 11. The member 38 is constituted of an upper film 39 and a nearly inverted trapezoidal side surface film 40 hung from one side edge of the upper surface of the film 39 made of a film member, desirably, whose thickness is 0.05 to 0.25 mm. |
