<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of recovering a positive electrode active material, including a large quantity of lead dioxide from a used lead-acid battery at a low cost. SOLUTION: In this recovery method, after a predetermined number of days have elapsed since a used lead-acid battery, which does not include the antimony alloy is not used, circuit voltage and internal resistance of the battery are measured, and when the measured voltage is more than the predetermined value and the measured internal resistance is lower than twice of the internal resistance when it is new, the positive electrode active material is recovered from the battery.</p> |
