PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform reliable automatic output switching of stereo/monaural signals by selecting and outputting a 2nd audio signal via a 2nd audio signal output terminal when the load is connected to a 1st audio signal output terminal, selecting and outputting an addition signal of the 1st and 2nd audio signals when the load is not connected to the 1st audio signal output terminal and controlling switching. SOLUTION: One end of an Rch pin code 216 the other end of which is connected to an RCARch signal output jack 214 is connected to an RCARch signal input jack 219 of another stereo monitor device. Under such a condition, the level of voltage applied to a load detection part 211 is lowered due to a time constant circuit output impedance 207 and an Rch signal input impedance 220 of another monitor device is regard to the load detection signals which are continuously outputted from the jack 214. A microcomputer 212 recognized that the impedance 220 is connected to the jack 214 and then opens a load detection signal output changeover switch 209.
