The mouse pad (1) has a thin carrier (2) of flexible plastic and this has an under coating of extruded material (3). On the surface of the carrier is a layer of a fiber in the form of a temperature resistant synthetic wool (5). Onto this is bonded a surface layer (6) used as the mouse surface that is printed with information.
