According to the invention, cables (1) prefabricated with plug-in connectors are used in an electrical installation system. In order to facilitate the handling of the cables during prefabrication, during execution of the installation work, and optionally during future inspection and repair work of the electrical installation, each prefabricated cable (1) carries a bar code (7) which is placed on the cable sheath (9) as an ink jet print. The bar code contains information pertaining to length, type, point of origin, destination, route, strand positions on the plug-in connector, and a coding of a character identification. |
