PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To restrain strike-through, and permit an optical discrimination mark to be read correctly by printing an optical discrimination mark on a ground printing part being transparent or the same color as paper printed on paper. SOLUTION: A paper 11 is controlled as a bankbook on the opacity of thickness, smoothness, or the like, and can be used with bankbook paper for on-line page increase. The ground printed part 12 is hard to be visualized and has a smoothness of printing adaptability, and it can be printed by the use of the medium ink of an oxidation polymerization type and UV curable type, or the like. The printed matter 10 is that after ground printing is given on a part where a page mark of the mark printed part 12 of paper 11 is printed by medium ink, mark printing 13 of the page mark is printed by India ink. Since the ground printed part 12 is formed by previously printing one layer of transparent medium ink, infiltration or strike-through of India ink can be restrained in the mark printed part 13.
