PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a torch feed device for arc welding which sets a torch in an appropriate position for a linear part to be welded so a to enable an automatic feed at a constant speed. SOLUTION: The device is provided with a profiling plate 10 which is arranged above a linear part to be welded so as to set a torch 6 at a fixed distance vertical to a part to be welded, a belt conveyer 15 which is wound to the profiling plate 10, is arranged with a round or rectangular opening to insert/ move the torch 6, a torch hold plate 20 which faces a surface of the belt conveyer 15 with placing a small gap 23 holding a flange part 6a protruded around the torch 6 and a motor which rotationally drives the belt conveyer 15 so as to move the torch 6 along the part to be welded. At a state the torch 6 is inserted into the profiling plate 10 and the torch hold plate 20 and the flange part 6a is held between the belt conveyer 15 and the torch hold plate 20, a torch passage 28 allowing the torch 6 to move in a line direction is provided.
