ÄSubjectÜ A peptide which has pharmaceutically preferable properties and has a thrombomodulin activity, and a purification method and a detection method thereof are obtained. ÄMeans for SolutionÜ A novel peptide which has a novel sugar chain and has a thrombomodulin activity, and a pharmaceutical composition which contains it as the active ingredient are provided. A method for separating said peptide by affinity chromatography with anti-HNK-1 antibody and an enzyme immunoassay method with anti-HNK-1 antibody are also provided.
