PURPOSE: A serial interface signal exchanging device and a method thereof are provided to be exchanged to have the compatibility between the serial interfaces such as RS422/RS485 and so on. CONSTITUTION: The serial interface signal exchanging device comprises: a connecting unit(34) having plural connecting terminals to connect the connecting channels more than two with the different connecting terminals; a sequential storing unit delivering the signals which are stored by putting in through the connecting unit(34) or the stored signals to other systems through the connecting unit(34); and a central processing unit(30) for exchanging the signals with the sequential storing unit.
