PURPOSE: An automatic switching apparatus of user's favorite channel on a television is provided to automatically switch over a channel according to each saved day and time when the power of user's television is on. CONSTITUTION: The switching apparatus of user's favorite channel comprises: a memory unit(45) for storing the channel that a user selected; a timer(70) for supplying the day and the time of the channel stored in the memory unit; a counter(50) for adding up the channel that the user selected into the stored channel data; a tuner circuit unit(15) for changing based on the control of a micom(55); a micom for controlling the tuner circuit unit and changing a channel to the user's favorite channel.
