SELECTIVE CALL SERVICE METHOD IN INTELLIGENCE NETWORK

PURPOSE: A selective call service method in an intelligence network performs a selective call service without giving a load to a local switching system. CONSTITUTION: A method produces a gateway for a communication of a network element performs a list edition logic if the list edition request is received from the subscriber, collects a call signal telephone number, and edits a selective call telephone number list. If a service activation or a service inactivation is received from the subscriber, the method performs a service activation or inactivation logic, changes the selective call telephone number list, and changes the selective call service state information to an activation state or inactivation state. If a terminating request is received from the subscriber, the method discriminates a call signal type according to outgoing/incoming number, and then transmits a call signal corresponding to a call signal type to the subscriber.
