PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an acoustic addition system which makes it possible to hold the edition quality of PCM(pulse code modulation) data and to utilize the edition function of MIDI data. SOLUTION: The acoustic addition system 1 has a MIDI conversion section 3, a MIDI edition section 5, an edition command translation section 7 of the MIDI data, a PCM acoustic signal batch edition section 11 by a PCM acoustic edition command 9, etc. The MIDI conversion section 3 converts the source PCM data 15 to the MIDI data 21 of a MIDI system. The MIDI edition section 5 edits the MIDI data 21 after the conversion and forms the MIDI data 23 after the edition. The edition command translation section 7 forms the PCM acoustic edition command 9 from the MIDI data 25 for the difference between the MIDI data 23 after the edition which is the change component of the MIDI data edited by the MIDI edition section 5 and the MIDI data 21 after the conversion. The PCM acoustic signal batch edition section 11 subjects the source PCM data 15 to acoustic signal edition by using the formed PCM acoustic edition command 9 group and forms the PCM data 17 after the edition.
