PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain excellent photographic reproducibility at the time of daylight synchronous photography by providing an exposure value changing means for changing an exposure value between the time of ordinary photography other than strobe synchronous photography and the time of the strobe synchronous photography. SOLUTION: A photometric output from a silicon photodiode(SPD) 15 is inputted in a CPU 16 which executes exposure arithmetic processing. When the exposure arithmetic processing is started, the CPU 16 calculates a photometric value, judges that the strobe synchronous photography (daylight synchronous photography) is executed when the charge of a stroboscopic device is completed, executed exposure value arithmetic processing and calculates a shutter speed and a diaphragm amount for the strobe photography. Then, when the luminance of a subject exceeds 10, the CPU 16 judges that it is daylight synchronous and sets a value obtained by subtracting 1 from the diaphragm value as an exposure value obtained by the exposure value arithemetic processing as the diaphragm value for executing the photography. Thus, the diaphragm is controlled in the direction where it is opened and the diaphragm is made to tend toward over exposure as a whole.
