PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the size of applications in a host computer and to improve the processing speed of the whole system. SOLUTION: A control unit 15 is provided with an input means for inputting respective IC card instruction data transmitted from a host computer 1 to an IC card 9, an execution means for successively executing the input operation of the input means while checking response data from the IC card 9 and a format conversion means for converting the formats of the response data which are different in each protocol of each IC card into an integrated format and transmitting the converted format to the host computer 1. The host computer 1 decodes only the data of the integrated format without individually corresponding to various protocols of IC cards. |
