PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce installation space and reduce the lengths of the drop cables. SOLUTION: A distribution substation 10 has a GIS(gas insulated switchgear) 5, a transformer 6 and a switchboard 7. The lower part of a transmission tower 1 consists of a two-storied structure (8 and 9), in which the respective apparatuses of the distribution substation are installed. Normally, a transmission tower is installed near a distribution substation. The lower part of the transmission tower consists of the two-storied structure, which is used as the installation space for the respective apparatuses of the distribution substation. With this constitution, the installation space for the distribution substation can be reduced, and the lengths of power cables can be reduced. It is recommended to install the GIS on the 2nd floor 8 which is closer to a transmission line. One or both of the transformer and the switchboard can be installed on the 1st floor 9. |
