PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a synthetic resin lens which does not require mixing of two liquids just prior to use, is not affected in moldability by the environment and has a high refractive index and good optical characteristics and mechanical characteristics. SOLUTION: This synthetic resin lens is a copolymer consisting of 10 to 50 wt.% component A and 90 to 50 wt.% component B which is a monomer copolymerizable with this component A and the refractive index thereof is >=1.58. The component A; pentabromobenzyl (meth)acrylate, the component B; a monomer copolymerizable with the component A. The lens contains >=10 wt.% a monomer having two radical polymerizable unsatd. groups in the component B. |
