PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal display device capable of performing a uniformity improving operation by a uniformity signal free front the degradation of a waveform and the reduction of a signal level. SOLUTION: A uniformity signal generating circuit 16 and a uniformity improving circuit 15 are provided in a liquid crystal display part 18 and the uniformity signal Fu generated in the circuit 16 is directly inputted to the circuit 15. Then, the uniformity signal Fu free from the degradation of the waveform and the reduction of the signal level is inputted to the circuit 15 and then a highly accurate signal reduction part is formed in the uniformity signal Fu by the ON/OFF control by the control signal Fc of the transistor 12 of the circuit 16 and sinkingsΔV,ΔH of a video signal Fv cause by a capacitive coupling are precisely compensated by the signal reduction part and, thus, the preventing of the deterioration of the uniformity is made possible without causing surface-roughness faults such as vertical stream and crosstalk on the display screen of the video signal Fv.
