ASH SUPPLY METHOD AND DEVICE FOR MELTING FURNACE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make the structure of an ash separator for supplying ash to an ash melting furnace simple and compact. SOLUTION: The ash feeder 1 of an ash melting device is designed to feed ash toward one direction of a port 2 side. The port 2 is connected to the introducing port 9 of an ash separator 5 through a duct 3. A powder introducing chamber is provided on the upper part of a porous plate 8 in a casing 5a and a window box for receiving conveyed air from a blower 20 is provided in the lower part of the ash separator 5. A plurality of small holes vertically passing through the porous plate 8 are uniformly and radially provided on the porous plate 8. The powder introducing chamber is provided with two arm shaped exhaust ports 10 and 11 on its side wall. The exhaust ports 10 and 11 are connected to ash convey pipes 12 and 13 which are connected to a pair of powder supply burners 15 and 16 of an ash melting furnace 14. The ash separator 5 can uniformly supply incinerated ash to the powder supply burners 15 and 16 to generate uniform molten slag in the melting furnace.
