PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform the exact positioning with an IC chip by making distances between four sides of a recessed part and four sides of the IC chip into intervals smaller than the minimum curvature radius in the entire shape of the recessed part and providing plural linear sections almost parallel with the sides of the IC chip on the respective sides on a card base material. SOLUTION: Concerning the shape of a recessed part 11a to mount an IC chip 12, on the card base material linear sections 11b are formed on the respective sides and each linear section is formed so as to be almost parallel with the side of the IC chip 12 by making the distance from each side of the IC chip 12 into an interval δsmaller than the minimum curvature radius (r) in the entire shape of the recessed part 11a. Such a linear section 11b is formed so that a total B of the lengths of linear sections 11b can not be shorter than 1/5 of the length A of the correspondent side of the IC chip 12. Thus, even when the recessed part 11a of the card base material is worked at a high working speed, the positioning with the IC chip 12 can be exactly performed. |
