<p>This invention relates to storage containers (10) for recorded media discs (32) that includes a centrally disposed hub (30) surrounded by, and spaced from, an outer wall (20). The hub includes a pair of resilient arms (64) that cooperate to retain the disc's centrally disposed hole. The outer wall contains a finger access recess (96) that is positioned to align with a reference plane (101) bisecting each resilient arm (64) of the hub (30). This arrangement allows the force generated by the user when removing the disc to be directly transmitted to the resilient arms, causing the resilient arms (64) to deflect and release the recorded media.</p> |
