The rear view mirror(1) has an adjustment(3) and a fixing(4) device so that it can be moved with vertical adjustment on the retaining rod(2) which may be telescopic. The mirror may have a slot in which locates a pivoting and tilting ball enabling vertical adjustment, and the retaining rod may have a fixing screw.
