PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate sheet removing works by forming a deflection in the sheet stagnating on a sheet transport path which is left open when sheet removal is likely to be troublesome. SOLUTION: Two guide plates 45 and 46 form a sheet transport path to lead a sheet to the specified destination, and the exterior member 36 of an image forming device is opened and the guide plate 46 is installed on a holding member 47a attached to this exterior member 36 so that the sheet transport path is opened. The other guide plate 45 is installed rotatably about a shaft 45a on the body side of the image forming device and energized rotationally in the opening direction by a kick spring 48. Thereby a sheet P stagnating is pushed in the opening direction and a deflection (a) is formed in that region of sheet P corresponding with the forefront of the guide plate 45. This deflection formed (a) facilitates removal of the sheet.
