PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the weight of a construction block and to hold concrete placed at a lower part, and covering earth for covering an upper part by ribs by providing the construction block with the ribs protruded vertically from the upper faces of leg parts. SOLUTION: A standard block 1 is constituted by providing a partition part between parallel-arranged leg parts 3, 3 and arranging three ribs 4 orthogonally. The ribs 4 are formed protruding vertically in a pointed state from the upper faces 3b of the leg parts 3. The partition part 5 reaches the upper ends of the ribs 3 from the lower end of the leg part 3, and a concrete filling port 8 is formed among the leg part 3, rib 4, and partition part 5. These standard blocks 1 are laid zigzag on an inclined face using hanging anchors 6, and end blocks of half width are laid at the ends. Concrete is filled from each concrete filling port 8 up to the upper face 3b of the leg part 3, and earth covering is executed thereon. The standard block 1 is therefore reduced in weight, concrete is placed easily and positively, and both the placed concrete at the lower face and covering earth at the upper face can be held by the ribs 4.
