PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for preventing freezing of water remaining in a pump, which can prevent freezing of water remaining in the pump and also can certainly and smoothly carry out restart. SOLUTION: When drain operation is started (S1), after water in a bath tub is drained off (S2), a reheating switch is switched on together with the driving switch of a bath boiler with a water heater, to continue only for a first drain time T1 and most of reheating water in a circulating circuit including a heat exchanger is delivered to the bath tub (S3). After that, a gas cock is closed (S4), the drain cock of the circulating circuit and the drain valve of a pump are opened (S5), the reheating switch is switched on together with the driving switch of the bath boiler with the water heater to continue only for a second drain time T2, and drain is performed from the pump (S6). After finishing step S6, the driving switch is switched off, a power source outlet is pulled out, and drain operation is finished (S7).
