PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the remote controller that selects a proper channel in response to a transmission format of a manufacturer where the transmission format for channel selection is not deleted or changed by mis-operation of keys or the like. SOLUTION: The remote controller that is provided at least with a transmission format revision key 2c and ten-keys 2i where a desired transmission format is selected by depressing the transmission format revision key 2c to validate it and depressing any of the ten-keys 2i, is provided with a key 3 that stops validation of the transmission format revision key 2c.
