摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To construct a wooden house of existing framework structure tenacious to horizontal force (earthquake force or the like) by shortening buckling length 1k of a column in wooden architecture and reducing capital flexureδto heighten the allowable buckling stress intensity fk of the column while providing graceful dwelling space through the decrease of bearing walls owing to reinforcement of the column. SOLUTION: A compound compression member (column) 1 is inserted in a column insert hole 6a of a reinforced concrete foundation 6, and the column 1 is fixed to the foundation 6 by a filler 4 (nonshrink mortar or the like) and a wedge 6b. A batten 2 is further fitted to the compound compression member (column) 1, and the batten 2 is fixed by wedges 2b. The batten 2 and the reinforced concrete foundation 6 are then fixed by anchor bolts 3. The column and the foundation are therefore connected rigidly, so that wooden architecture can resist horizontal force of an earthquake or the like.
