PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a time frequency reference signal generator which corrects the timing of a periodic pulse signal. SOLUTION: This time frequency reference signal generator measures the deviation in generation timing between the synchronous reference pulse signal outputted from a GPS receiver and the frequency-divided pulse signal, generated by dividing the frequency of the output pulse signal of a high-stability internal pulse signal generator 24, in terms of the number of output pulses of the high- stability internal pulse signal oscillator 24 and increases or decreases the frequency division value based on the measured value.
