PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a test sample from being influenced by the adhesion and residual of slurry, and to facilitate testing, by forming a recessed step part where the side of an inner-periphery edge is lower than that of an outer-periphery edge over the entire circumference of an inner-periphery edge part of at least one end face. SOLUTION: The sample 5 used for the compression strength test of centrifugally tightened and hardened concrete is manufactured with a form that uses a both-end plate 3 that is a projecting step part 4 where the inner-periphery edge part of an inner-surface side slightly projects inward over entire circumference, and the side of an inner-periphery edge is higher than that of an outer-periphery edge. In the obtained sample 5, a recessed step part 6 is formed, where the side of the inner- periphery edge is lower than that of the outer-periphery edge over the entire circumference of the inner-periphery edge part of an end face. Although slurry 7 may be squeezed to the inner-periphery surface of the sample 5 that is clamped and hardened by the formation of centrifugal force, and a hardened film tends to be formed while remaining in a film shape, the recessed step part 6 is not affected by the slurry 7, thus easily measuring the sectional area of an end part. The recessed step part may be formed only at one end side and also is formed even in the case of the form using a spacer.
